Invasive Species Council – Esk’et Rodeo grounds.

by eske_bmvlyq | Nov 26, 2018 | Uncategorized

“Since 2019, I have provided faller training for 2 of Alkali Resource Management’s (ARM) training programs. ARM is one of the only BC employers to support the training and fund a program that allows staff and members to become certified hand fallers. Hand fallers is a trade that is very hard to get into, as it has a high cost and very few training opportunities. ARM is creating careers in this trade that has wide coverage of forestry, wildfire, and residential tree care needs. Programs were always run and managed effectively to ensure flawless training. ARM staff ensures all safety aspects are covered and they offer support to the students upon program completion. We truly enjoy working with ARM, as they are very professional, hardworking, and driven. ARM operates to the highest standards, is a company who cares, supports, and promotes growth creating new positions and career opportunities. We always look forward to working with ARM.”

Dayton Gilmore, Iverson Forest Management

"As an organization, ARM was a pleasure to work with. Diligent, forward thinking and professional."

Richard Sullivan, Chief of Operations
Hummingbird Drones Inc.

"I have been working in partnership with ARM for many years on several successful wildfire prevention, preparedness, and response initiatives. ARM’s client service-based approach makes for excellent communication. ARM has always been available to work through details and address potential issues in a timely manner. This timely communication and willingness to prioritize meeting critical timelines has led to many successful projects being completed. Additionally, ARM has always been willing to innovate and try new things. This curiosity and creativity has led to ARM being directly involved in numerous cutting-edge wildfire-related initiatives in the Cariboo and provincially."

Brian Clark, British Columbia Wildlife Service

“The dedicated, reliable team at Alkali Resource Management are proven leaders in forest management in central BC. For more than 20 years, Tolko has appreciated the experience and knowledge that ARM has brought to projects. Esk’etemc First Nation has a long-standing connection to the land across their homelands and this value continues through the work of Alkali Resource Management. ARM is able to draw upon lived experience and wisdom from traditional knowledge keepers to adapt modern policy to ensure our forests are healthy for future generations. Tolko has benefited from our relationship with ARM through their ability to balance social, environmental, and business interests.”
